Pursuit of Happiness

I did this one in third year at Sheridan. I'm wearing that same sweater right now, and indulging in some lovely tunes.  Life is very good.

"Everything that shine ain't always gonna be gold..."

Dream me oh dreamer...

Dream me oh dreamer
down to the floor
open my hands and let them
weave onto yours

Feel me, completer
down to my core
open my heart and let it
bleed onto yours

Feeding on fever
down on all fours
show you what all that
howlin's for

--TV on the Radio

Always loved that song.
Painted this one recently when I felt that familiar call, the rebirth of my own wolf inside.

Oldies...

These are some paintings I did a while back. Some were done for life drawing, but the polar bear was a gift for someone special. I was told bears could ride tricycles but I didn't believe it. Then one fateful evening I saw a picture of it on the internet, but I didn't think the bear looked to happy about it. The other paintings have stories too.. the Queen is loosing her mind and soul to the dark yet strong magicks of her Red Pendant. Kind of a self portrait really, haha not a good time in my life.

The painting of the black and white clown was done in the same time period. The black and white clown is thinking to himself "Oh, you have not even seen my dark magick."
